Professor Akepogu Emmanuel is a distinguished theologian and pastor with a rich academic and ministerial background. He pursued seven years of theological training at Bharat Bible College, earning his B.Th., B.D., and M.Th. degrees. In 1995, while still studying, he played a pivotal role in establishing churches in Karnataka and Ramanathapuram, demonstrating his passion for spreading the Gospel.
Professor Emmanuel also served as Vice Principal of a Bible college under the guidance of Rev. Rajendra Paul Garu. Since 1997, he has been actively involved in pastoral ministry while simultaneously teaching in Bible colleges across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Over the years, he has trained approximately 3,000 pastors, equipping them with theological and ministerial insights.
A pioneering author, he wrote “Christian Faith,” a book on Systematic Theology in Telugu—the first of its kind. This seminal work became a bestseller, with 10,000 copies sold, marking a historic achievement in Telugu theological literature. He is recognized as the first vernacular author in the history of Telugu Christian literature, making profound theological concepts accessible to Telugu-speaking believers.

Prof. Timothy Purnakanti is a committed Christian leader with a strong foundation in both secular and theological education. He holds a Bachelor of Education (2005) and a Bachelor of Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, along with earlier academic credentials from the Board of Intermediate Education and S.S.C. Board. His academic journey reflects a balanced pursuit of knowledge and teaching, which later shaped his impactful ministry work.
His journey of faith began at the age of 11, following the passing of his grandmother. Curious about life after death, he asked his mother, a new believer at the time, who shared with him the gospel of Jesus Christ. Upon hearing about salvation and eternal life, he experienced a profound touch of God on his heart. After many personal encounters with God through His Word, he fully surrendered his life to Christ on April 24, 1994.
Strengthened by Scripture and driven by a deep desire to serve, he pursued various theological studies. His theological education is both deep and diverse. He earned a Master of Divinity (M Div) from PTS, Goa, affiliated with The Master’s Seminary, USA, graduating with distinction in 2013. In addition, he has completed numerous theological certifications and diplomas from institutions like GNCS Kerala, ZBBC, BBC Hyderabad, Emmaus A.P., and W.B.S., among others. He is also a certified teacher and trainer in Evangelism Explosion III International Ministry, equipping him for effective personal evangelism and leadership in the church.
With over 20 years of ministry experience and more than 10 years of Bible and theology teaching, Currently, he serves as the Working President and Regular Pastor of Moriah Church Ministries, where he leads through preaching, teaching, personal evangelism, family counseling, and community service initiatives.
